Behind the scenes of BBC Goodfood Middle East’s highly coveted Chef of the Year award 2012.

The top four chefs in Dubai participate in a Mystery Box cooking challenge. Using the same set of ingredients plus pantry staples, the competitors will have to create a three-course meal within a set time-frame. The winner will be selected by an independent judging panel, and will receive the BBC Good Food ME Chef of the Year title.
